Director; Obstetrician and Gynaecologist

Dr. Asha Jain

Gynaecologist, educator and advocate for women’s health, with more than three decades of clinical experience in Raipur.

Dr. Asha Jain founded SriMaa Sarada Arogyadham in 2009 and serves as its Director. Her work spans obstetrics and gynaecology, preventive oncology, colposcopy, fetal medicine, ultrasound, menopause care and professional education.

She began practising in Raipur in 1992 and pioneered colposcopy services in Central India from 2000. Her professional experience includes HPV research with Brown Cancer Center in Louisville, Kentucky, and continued work on HPV typing in genital and oral cancers.

Her clinical approach is grounded in continuous learning, evidence-based medicine and prevention before cure.

Dr. Jain is Medical Director of the Cancer Prevention and Relief Society and has delivered more than 300 awareness lectures. She has provided a weekly free outpatient clinic at Vivekanand Polyclinic, Raipur, since 1995.

Her recent leadership roles include Chairperson of the FOGSI Food, Drug and Medico-surgical Equipment Committee, General Secretary of the Chhattisgarh Society of Fetal Medicine, and President of the Raipur Menopause Society. She has also served the Chhattisgarh Medical Council, Indian Medical Association, Raipur Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society and other professional bodies.
